The Original House at Killashee is ideal for an intimate Wedding from 40 guests to a maximum of 90 guests. The Original House offers the features of a private period property with the modern conveniences of a luxury hotel. Access to the Original House is through the private porch entrance. The Drawing Room and the Parlour are set with fresh floral arrangements and tee lights for a pre dinner drinks reception. The reading lounge offers a cosy snug for guests. The open log burning fires create warm cosy atmosphere. In Spring and Summer, the private Original House gardens offer attractive features for Bridal photographs including a paved patio, gazebo & large Roman seat.

The Original House Hire fee includes fresh floral arrangements throughout the Original House and we recommend a complimentary consultation with our In-house florist to-ordinate your chosen theme or colour scheme.

The distinctive design of the Great Hall is enhanced with a round top table for the Bridal party which emphasises the intimate setting. The Great Hall can accommodate nine round tables. Killashee will provide large silver candelabra with a floral centrepiece on each guest table in addition to a floral arrangement on each of the mantelpieces of the fire places in the Great Hall. The fee for renting the Original House for a Wedding reception is €1500.00

There are 12 individually decorated bedroom suites in the Original House. Three bedrooms suites are offered to the Bridal party on a complimentary basis and the remaining nine suites must be occupied by their immediate family & friends.
