1. How do I book an appointment to view Killashee House Hotel
Our Wedding Co-Ordinators are available 7 days a week. Please contact weddings@killasheehouse.comor call 045 879277 to schedule an appointment to view Killashee House Hotel as a potential Wedding venue. A member of our dedicated Wedding team will be delighted to meet with you to discuss availability and tailor a Wedding package to your individual requirements.
2. How do I provisionally hold a date & how much is the deposit?
A provisional date may be held once you have viewed Killashee House Hotel with a member of the Wedding team. Typically provisional dates are held for two weeks. A Wedding Co-Ordinator will verify the provisional hold on any date by email. A non refundable deposit of €2000.00 along with a signed copy of the terms and conditions will be required to secure a venue and a date.
3. Do you cater for more than one Wedding?
Yes, we can host a Wedding in the Thomson Suite and a Wedding in the Original House on the same date. Both venues are entirely separate and private. Both venues operate independently and are assigned individual Wedding Managers on the day. Our Wedding team always welcome the opportunity to demonstrate how we host a Wedding in the Thomson Suite and the Original House to any couple considering either venue at Killashee House Hotel.
4. How many bedrooms do I have to book? Is there a minimum?
There are 141 bedrooms at Killashee House Hotel. As standard, your Wedding Co-Ordinator will hold an allocation of 20 bedrooms for date of your Wedding. Any bedrooms from the allocation that are not required will be released by to the Hotel 4 weeks in advance of the Wedding date. Bride & Grooms may request to increase the allocation of 20 bedrooms before signing the terms and conditions. Any bedrooms required outside of the requested allocation are subject to availability. Please note for Original House Weddings, 12 suites in the Original House must be occupied by the Bridal party.
5 What are the accommodation rates for my guests?
We offer discounted accommodation rates to all guests that are attending your Wedding at Killashee House Hotel. The reduced rates are €143.00 based on two people sharing including full Irish breakfast cooked to order. We also offer reduced rates for families.
6. What are the minimum numbers?
The minimum number required to book the Thomson Suite is 120 adult guests Sunday to Thursday and 150 guests on Friday and Saturday. The minimum number required to book the Original House is 40 adult guests. As per our terms and conditions, the final number of guests must be supplied to the Hotel at least 48 hours in advance of your wedding reception.
7. Does Killashee offer a Wedding menu tasting?
We host dedicated Wedding Menu tasting evenings when we provide an opportunity to visit the Hotel on a specific evening for a complimentary tasting of your proposed Wedding menu. We schedule the Wedding menu tasting approximately 3 months in advance of your Wedding day. The Wedding menus tasting evenings are a great opportunity to meet the members of the Wedding team whom look after you on the day of your Wedding.
